Semiotics is the knowledge that analyzes the types of signs, the factors present in the process of production and exchange and interpretation of them, as well as the rules governing the signs. A sign is something that signifies something other than itself. Philip Hamoun also divides personality semiotics into three levels: signifier, signified, and levels of personality analysis. In this paper, using the descriptive-analytical method, the personality and traits of Imam Hussein (AS) in the light of the semiotic process are examined. The salient features of the personality of Imam Hussein (AS) as a signifier and signified and a valuable object are not hidden from society and its individuals, and the obvious manifestations of these characteristics as a beacon illuminate the path of error and darkness for all. The symbolic and symbolic character of Imam Hussein (AS) as a sign, causes the recognition of the good and bad characteristics of a society during the life of that Imam among the people and also in the present time, because by recognizing the characteristics of Imam Hussein (AS) One can separate the good from the bad and the right from the wrong and realize its nature.
