Hope plays a significant role in the Ashura messages, for it sheds light on moving forward for domination of the ultimate Islamic state. Focusing on the speeches of Imam al-Husayn and Imam al-Sajjad through the framework introduced by Charles Richard Sneider, it appears that conviction in Allah enjoyed the pivotal role, plus having a plan for attaining the intended aims, enduring hardships, and identifying the obstacles were evident in their speeches.
