Abstract
On the eve of Shura, Imam al-Husayn described his companions in terms if being the most loyal ones. Such a praise has since given them a high station. The reason was simply that despite all the increasing pressures, they remained steadfast and manifested their high fidelity. They joined the battlefield willingly. Such alacrity and perseverance have imprinted their names in the records of history
