Abstract
In the Muslim world, Ashura symbolizes a tragically historic day: It globally typifies resistance, sacrifice, and fighting oppression. The present work deals with the role of Ashura in Iranians' cultural identity, along with its historical impact. It vociferates sublime human rights and strengthens their religious identity as well as national integrity.
