Abstract
As a prominent companion of Imam al-Husayn, al-Abbas b. Ali has received high praises from Imam al-Husayn, hence the ziarat-text he has received, as recorded in reluable Shii sources. In consequence, his ziarat-text contains laudable statements that highlight his noble character with his high aims clearly stated. Accordingly, his slayers are accursed. Also asserted is that he shall be among those people whose second return back to this world is solemnly promised
