Abstract
Sheikh al-Saduq quotes some traditions in which it is claimed that the hijab of the female survivors of the Ashura massacre was removed. Based on delicate hadith scholarship techniques, Allama Sunquri Haeri rejects those views in his book al-`Asemiyyah. He holds that such scenes were improbable to take place there and then during and after the Ashura episode.
