The event of Ashura has been truly a historic and eternally influential event. It has since burned the hears of all true believers. According to the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Kamenehyi, some of the major defects of contemporary Persian Ashura-oriented poems include exaggeration, untrue statements, weak poems, poems with poor supportive evidence, and statements that harm Muslims' integrity.
