Abstract
The novel consists of imaginative and hypothetically reconstructed journals of Hz. Ruqayyah, an under-aged and martyred daughter of Imam al-Husayn. The book is a work of the Lebanese novelist Rajaa Muhammad Bitar. It vividly portrays various aspects of Imam al-Husayn's character and moral traits as depicted by his daughter throughout the time-span from leaving Medina thourough the Ashura Battle of Karbala.
