Abstract
Hz. Zaynab has shown various aspects of her personality throughout the Karbala episode. One of them is her embodiment of the state of complacency for the Divine sake, as manifested in her Kufah and Damascus harangues. The present paper first deals with the concept of "complacency" as a Quranic keyword, followed by its manifestations in her dignity and crisis management, all coming comingled with her sense of jihad in the cause of Allah. Above all, her electrifying harangues show her extraordinary mental capacity.
