Abstract
In the ziarat-text issued in favor of Hz. Abbas b. Ali, the Arabic term Illiyyin is used. It signifies many things, e.g., the highest level of the heavens, the seventh heaven, and the Divine Preserved Tablet. There were several factors due to which he has since enjoyed such a sublime status, i.e., obeying the orders of his elder brother, Imam al-Husayn, attention to the needy, and being lenient with his associates and peers.
