A purpose of reciting ziarat-texts in favor of the Infallibles is drawing well-nigh to them for receiving their blissful attention and intercession. Among the various ziarat-texts in favor of Imam al-Husayn, that of Arbaeen, originally issued by the sixth Infallible Imam Jafar al-Sadiq, is replete with profound concepts as to the sublime aims of Imam al-Husayn, his character, and his lofty status as the rightly appointed leader
